I think my neighbor is stalking me as she’s been googling my name on her computer. I saw it through my telescope last night!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have been retired 12 Years, 2 Months, and 13 Days! Fantastic! We are on the Go Go Go! We send our weekly cards out this morning…two birthdays and three “Hello’s!”. We also put together our list for July 4th at Old ranch… Just staying organized!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Off to our lawyer this morning as we are adjusting some things in our estate and Will. Long overdue but necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On our return I went to the back yard and was amazed by the quantity of blackberries on the vines. I plucked two handfuls and didn’t even make a dent so I filled up a coffee filter full of these little delights and went next door and visited Vicky. She was ecstatic!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are expecting an order from the Container Store today. We are arranging the office closet so the closet can handle the plastic storage boxes we are using. The boxes sit on the floor now and we have to stack and re-stack all the time…another few days and no stacking will be needed…yeah! We use the ELFA storage system which we have in the MB Closet, Master Bathroom, and Master Bedroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Things are looking up…down below 215 again…heading for 195 again! <\/p>\n\n\n

I worked in the office closet all day getting ready for the arrival of the ELFA hardware from the Container Store. The plastic boxes seen stacked up will go inside the closet on steel shelves which will provide much more storage than the small wooden shelves you see in on the right! The plastic containers have historical dance club documents, rechargable batteries, ammunition (shotgun and handgun), printer paper, etc. No longer will we have to dig to find what we want…I was going to do this when I retired! Twelve years later I am getting around to it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We use this in several other areas of our home including the bookshelves and computer desk in the office! Little pricey but flexible and lasts forever!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Our son Joe called and he went to Dinseyland by himself to scope out what we need to do on the 11th when we join his family to see Star Wards Land…clever he is! He also shared with me a special surprise for Amy and Sue…he is a thoughtful man! We are so lucky to have Amy, Joe, Charlie, and Alex in the family!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also got an update on family activities… Alex won another championship in baseball and Charlie is on the Principal’s Honor Roll at school…Wow!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After winning a tournament…. Poor Amy says Alex, Joe, and I act just alike… OMG, poor Amy!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We are going to join Amy and the boys at Disneyland later on in the week as they are all out of school now. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miss Amy is the family cheerleader and a beautiful person!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Joe also informed us the surprise award at Charlie’s school was that Charlie was on the “Princpals Honor Roll” for being a 4.0 student for the past three years! Go Charlie!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At 5:00 PM we set out for Malarkey’s where we will see Irene. The barge tug was going back and forth all afternoon! We think he lost his barge and was looking for it! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We invited Mitch to join us he texted us and he had 11 hours in at 5:00 PM and headed home! We will see him Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The problems of the world have zero change when great minds like Irene and ours gets together. We talked., laughed, teased, and giggled for two hours while I downed a corned beef sandwich and a couple of gin and tonics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Irene was in trouble with us as we missed her Friday and Saturday night at the dances and she did not respond to the texts over the weekend. We told her we almost drove to he home to check up on her. She said is was a “vegetate weekend” so she ignore the phone. She promised not to fo that again and she going to add us to her emergency contact list as her daughter in in Portland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bad Irene!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The sunset was playing with our emotions tonight…it looked like it was going to be a bust and then a few minutes later it looked like it could be OK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunset this evening was 7:59 PM and we arrived at 5:30 PM. We look pretty good for two plus hours of sitting and drinking. The wine is the good stuff…St, Regis!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Almost a perfect evening… Wine, woman but I did not sing (didn’t want to frighten the other patrons)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We swung the mighty iPhone to the west to see ol’ Sol take his nightly bath. He was so embarrassed that he turned the bright orange\/red we had even seen in a long time…could have been Halloween. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
