I was born in 1962 \u2026 and the room next to me was 1963.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We started with a trip to Ralph’s Market…I saw a recipe on Facebook I wanted to try and by golly, it worked!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was thinking about my Dad this morning.\u00a0 He was a “window dresser” in the 1930’s, an occupation that really does not exist any more.\u00a0A job as a Window Dresser falls under the broader career category of Merchandise Displayers and Window Trimmers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Job Description for Merchandise Displayers and Window Trimmers” Plan and erect commercial displays, such as those in windows and interiors of retail stores and at trade exhibitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He taught me to dress windows and I did that for three dime stores while I was in high school…once a week I would redress the windows at the stores on Pico Blvd and on La Cienega.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most of the day I did paperwork and getting plans for the busy Christmas season finalized!\u00a0 We have stuff going on almost continually!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We finalized our number at 88 friends and family this year for the Christmas Play<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Sue us out of reading materials so I popped up to Barnes and Noble and got ten new fiction book’s…one of these days I will get to read them!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We both took naps in the afternoon.\u00a0 We called Mitch and arranged to take him out for his birthday which is coming up soon…off to Patty’s Place for a big steak!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had to laugh at this one! It is so true…kids today can’t handle 3,4,5, or 6 on the floor!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
