(See the little &#8220;bump&#8221; in the path at the lower roght=hand corner? These were an amazing display of hydrangias.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Did You Know:\u00a0If you&#8217;re growing\u00a0 hydrangias coffee grounds can be used to affect their color. Coffee grounds add extra acidity to the soil around hydrangeas. On a chemical level, this increased acidity makes it easier for the plant to absorb naturally occurring aluminum in the dirt. Always fun with Robin!!!<\/p>\n<p>We returned home and Paul hit the garden for a couple of hours and then daughter Colleen and grandson Jon called from the local hotel\u00a0 They were back from the funeral for Juanita D Feltz, Paul&#8217;s ex mother-in-law (who, BTW, was a great lady) and wanted to come by and visit. Apparently all went as expected.<\/p>\n<p>Juanita D. Feltz (April 27, 1923 &#8211; July 1, 2018) had a great run&#8230;she will be missed. sue and I will miss her waving at us as we departed her home on many occasions in the last 20 years&#8230;we didn&#8217;t talk but we communicated!<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Random Thought: I often wondered, how, with having 2-3 kids, there can be one of them that is so different than the others.\u00a0 Juanita had one that was not very nice (Paul&#8217;s ex) and I shared that in common with Juanita, having one daughter that is not nice at all.\u00a0 They both had the &#8220;world revolves around me&#8221; syndrome which is horrible and dysregulated&#8230;hard to watch and impossible to deal with.\u00a0 Juanita and I both listened to\u00a0 some good logical and just did not deal with the incurable problems they brought on themselves and others&#8230;sad!<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">It&#8217;s common for people with toxic behavior to: create drama in their lives or be surrounded by it; try to manipulate or control others; be needy (\u201cit is all about them all the time\u201d).\u00a0 Interesting to watch these two people &#8220;bind&#8221; with each other and leave every other family member out&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">On the bright side, they are not axe murderers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>We jabbered for a while with Colleen and Jon and then decided to go to Panda Inn for dinner.\u00a0 Great fun catching up on everything! Rumors have been successfully passed!<\/p>\n<p>IT WAS HOT!!!\u00a0 The car thermometer registered <strong>113 degrees<\/strong> as we pulled into the Panda Inn!\u00a0 Damn&#8230;it was sizzling!<\/p>\n<p>When we returned back home it was a mere 101 degrees and the house was 80 inside&#8230;thanks to the air conditioning!\u00a0 We set the thermostat at 80 degrees as that is pretty comfortable for us.<\/p>\n<p>After dinner we returned home, visited for a while and then watched some TV before crashing!\u00a0 We had out 11:00 PM tookies and watched NCIS beginning at Season 1!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Remember:\u00a0Walking is good for solving problems &#8211; it&#8217;s like the feet are little psychiatrists.
