OK, we ar ready to face the day with a smile!\u00a0 That way, no one will really know what we think!\u00a0 Paul decided to go for a walk and part way done, he remembered that last night Sue did not have a great dinner so the walk was cut a little short and Paul headed home after 45 minutes or so.<\/p>\n

It was a shorter than normal walk but sufficient<\/p><\/div>\n

Why are roses so amazing?<\/p>\n

A rose is a rose is a rose…whatever that means<\/p><\/div>\n

One of our neighbors (two blocks away) has a flower forest for a front yard and it is quite amazing!<\/p>\n

So, coming home Paul stopped to admire this little beauty but what it is?\u00a0 So, to the iPhone App Store Paul goes and downloads a new app to find out what are the names of plants.<\/p>\n

What in the world is this?<\/p><\/div>\n

Paul tip-toes upon the neighbors lawn, sneaks up on the flower, centers it in the screen and presses the button.\u00a0 A few moments later “ORANGE LICHEN” appears. Alas, the software was wrong!\u00a0 It was a Yarrow which is a\u00a0\u00a0hardy and versatile perennial. yarrow has\u00a0showy flower heads composed of many tiny, tightly-packed flowers rising above clusters of ferny foliage. The\u00a0flowers may be yellow, red, pink, or\u00a0a number of shades in\u00a0between.\u00a0 Yarrow is pest-resistant, drought-resistant, attracts butterflies, and is excellent for cutting and\u00a0drying.\u00a0It\u2019s also an aromatic herb which has many healing\u00a0properties!<\/p>\n

Paul has a new app… Take a picture of a plant and ask the wizard of iPhone… This time the wizzard was WRONG!<\/p><\/div>\n

We watched a bit of TV and them Paul headed for the garage to do some stacking of boxes.\u00a0 We are going to buy a storage shed so moving everything to be store into one place gives us a better idea of what we need to buy! Looks like a 6×10 ought to do just fine!<\/p>\n
