Were did the year go?\u00a0 Paul did his walk this morning and it was pretty uneventful.\u00a0 This season he has walked almost every street in Rossmoor and tomorrow he has to get out the map and plan the walk so as to his the remainders.\u00a0 Join the fun<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Since November Paul has walked about 70 miles in the mornings which is not too bad for al ol’ geezer of 73… Hey, almost a mile for every year!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>You do see the strangest things as you walk through the hood!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>

No kidding… It was in the high 40’s upon departure<\/p><\/div>\n

In the afternoon, Sue and Paul took a walk with Sue leading the parade.\u00a0 We did about 30 minutes around the short block in an attempt to get Sue up and at it again!\u00a0 We are going to walk together every day after Paul talks a longer jaunt!<\/p>\n

We stopped by Old Ranch to make some final arrangement for New Years Eve as we are throwing a “get together” this year.\u00a0 Previous years the club has had parties but mostly for the younger set.\u00a0 This year, we made arrangements for the dining room for our family and friends and we got a nine piece band called Nine Carat Gold to play dance music all evening!\u00a0 Old ranch is doing a band up job for us.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>After that we headed to Orange and met with Jan Mongel for dinner.\u00a0 We had a delightful time laughing and giggling and an occasional cry for our missing friends.\u00a0 We dined at the Da Bianca Trattoria in Orange!\u00a0 Small but the food was excellent! It was a special evening.\u00a0 We did miss Jan and Brian Finch this evening as Brian was a bit under the weather!<\/p>\n

Excellent food and a nice wine list – Cakebread for all!<\/p><\/div>\n

Paul did the Ciopinno and it was outstanding!<\/p><\/div>\n

Home we go and we watched\u00a0 “Fuller House”.\u00a0 We crashed about midnight!\u00a0 Life is good.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
