<\/a>Get ready! It’s time for the Family Pumpkin Carving Day!<\/p><\/div>\n
We recovered form the 800 mile round trip to Stockton and proceeded to “catch up”.\u00a0 Paul worked in the garden and Sue paid the bills.\u00a0 We rested most of the day but the ol’ cabin fever got us around 4:00 PM so we cleaned up and headed for Patty’s Place.<\/p>\n
Prior to leaving, we called Tom at the rehab hospital and were amazed that we answered the phone and “talked” to us.\u00a0 He recognized us and we chatted for maybe five minutes.\u00a0 It was a miracle.\u00a0 From not expected to make it to talking in a week.\u00a0 We were elated!<\/p>\n
Patty’s was not very busy when we got there. Paul had a glass of wine and the famous bacon wrapped prawns while Sue did the twice baked potato. Patty’s reminds us of Cheers where “everybody knows your name”.<\/p>\n
<\/a>Paul asked for a single ear of corn and he got what he asked for!<\/p><\/div>\n
