We departed at 9:00 AM and decided we would take good ol’ 99 since it was the closest.\u00a0 We were surprised that on Sunday morning, traffic was zip.\u00a0 We made it out of LA without stopping on the freeway once for traffic!<\/p>\n

Bill Lee’s Bamboo Curtain was our second stop (we stopped at a rest stop to exercise a bit).\u00a0 we have the regular.\u00a0 Paul loves their “paper wrapped chicken”.\u00a0 We ate about 20% of what they served. We have an ice chest in the van so the meal came home with us.<\/p>\n

On to Stockton we go.\u00a0 While driving, we\u00a0 found out that Tom was moved to a rehab center in Stockton so we decided to visit Kaye and not go to the hospital as Tom was probably too tired to receive visitors.<\/p>\n

It is a beautiful facility just 6.5 miles from Aunt Kaye’s home<\/p><\/div>\n

We visited for two hours and then headed back to Wine and Roses Spa in Lodi.\u00a0 Great place,\u00a0 We had an amazing dinner as Paul finally did their pork chop, which was huge!.\u00a0 We sat in the bar and listened to the piano music until closing.<\/p>\n

We walked back to our room and crashed for the night… Amazing how much sitting for 8 hours and driving takes out of you… Perhaps hours of concentration?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
