After getting home, Paul worked in the garden watering and trimming the fruit trees. We decided we needed to ho to H&H Nursery to get some redwood bark and some herbs plus a few other veggies.<\/p>\n

Paul’s trusty sidekick, Miss Sue, drove the cart and provide sage advice (Pun intended, we got two kids of sage). We bought Purpurascens and Tricolor sage for our garden.<\/p>\n

Did You Know: In Britain, sage has for generations been listed as one of the essential herbs, along with parsley, rosemary and thyme (as in the folk song “Scarborough Fair”). It has a savory, slightly peppery flavor. It appears in many European cuisines, notably Italian, Balkan and Middle Eastern cookery. Paul asked Zack if he and his family would like to join us on Taco Tuesday and we had a ball. Laura and Noah joined in plus Marqueta and the grandkids and of course, Miss Lilly the great grandkid!<\/p>\n

Kicking back after a large Mexican meal…\u00a0 Paul, as usual, stuffed himself and has to walk twice as far as usual.<\/p>\n

Becca, Miss Lilly #1, and Paul went for a cart ride on the back nine!\u00a0 We were looking for baby ducks but it was cool so they were huddled with their mommies in the bushes.\u00a0 We did see six geese and of course Miss Lilly #2<\/p>\n
