Our 1,000 mile trip to the great north was completed and the Porter’s and Hale’s were visited!\u00a0 Today, we spent the day cleaning up from Christmas.\u00a0 We wrote our thank-you notes, put away the Christmas clothes and Santa hats, and went to the market to stock up for the weekend.<\/p>\n

In the late afternoon we went to Old Ranch for Happy hour and then we went to Kobe Steakhouse for some sushi and time to rest!<\/p>\n

Of course Paul texted Joe with pictures of the sushi and Joe sent back pictures of their desert campsite.\u00a0 When Joe was a little guy, we would head to the desert every time we could.<\/p>\n

We know who the smart family member of this family is…\u00a0 Amy was back at camp in the cozy warm trailer curled up next to the fireplace with a good book.<\/p>\n

Joe, Alex, and Charlie hit the road<\/p><\/div>\n

They look pretty good in their desert garb!\u00a0 Joe (left), Alex (center) and Charlie (right).\u00a0 They are excellent riders with the flags flying.\u00a0 By the way, the flags are so other riders can see them as they move through the hilly terrain.<\/p>\n

Everyone had a super time staying for several days enjoying the cool desert and great riding.\u00a0 No dust on this trip!<\/p>\n
