It’s August 1st and the year is moving so very fast!\u00a0 We worked around the house for a while and decided, due to Cabin Fever, we would go out before Happy Hour.\u00a0 We went to the local Brewery and enjoyed a glass of wine and Paul had some mussels.\u00a0 We sat outside under the tent and had a great view of the Long Beach Harbor.<\/p>\n

At 4:30 PM we headed to Malarkey’s to meet up with Irene.\u00a0 Greg is in the desert with his dad enjoying a few days away from LA.\u00a0 It is Irene’s birthday on the 3rd so we decided to celebrate a little earlier!<\/p>\n

We love to shop for Irene… We look for interesting (and edible) stuff.\u00a0 Edible so it does not have to be stored for very long!<\/p>\n

A dessert showed up unannounced and we found out who was behind it… Jennifer is a very thoughtful young lady!\u00a0 Malarkey’s is lucky to have such a great employee!<\/p>\n

We headed for home afterwords to watch a movie (that means, Sue did the treadmill).\u00a0 We then watched three more episodes of Star Trek.\u00a0 We decided sometimes the episodes get a “little goofy”.\u00a0 We laughed and turned in at 12:30 AM.\u00a0 Tomorrow is a gold day!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
