Do I hear a big AMEN??<\/p><\/div>\n

Time for some cleanup in the front yard.\u00a0 Our grapefruit tree went bonkers this year and produced hundreds of grapefruit.\u00a0 Paul finally went up on the garage roof and cut the ones resting on the garage letting them roll to the ground ten feet below!<\/p>\n

While cleaning up the grapefruit, Paul also attacked the lemon tree as it was growing so tall it needed to be cut down to size.\u00a0 He got most of it but at seventy plus years old, standing on the top of a twelve foot ladder is not a good idea so we will be calling some professionals.<\/p>\n

Sue picked pounds and pounds of small tomatoes and made several quarts of her famous pasta-tomato salad.\u00a0 Vicky (next door) got some, the Chartier’s will get some, and we kept the remainder.<\/p>\n

We went to the market to for last minute “Porter Shopping” before coming home and awaiting time to go to the Garden Grove Elks.\u00a0 Paul took a nap and Sue sorted out all the Cerritos Theater tickets.<\/p>\n

We went to the Elks and again danced until about 10:00 PM before going home and visiting with Pat and Diane.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
