It was hot so we became home-bodies today.\u00a0 Inside we were 78 and outside it was in the high 90’s.\u00a0 The ol’ air conditioner worked well.\u00a0 When we were leaving we heard a strange sound in the back yard vegetable garden!<\/p>\n

Dang! We hate it when that happens!<\/p><\/div>\n

Sue had a prescription for new glasses so we headed to LensCrafters in the mall to get the glasses and perhaps visit TGIFriday!\u00a0 While minding our own business, Sue discovered an entry in the menu that caught her eye.\u00a0 She knew Paul likes root beer floats (along with our grandson Nick).\u00a0 But an “Adult Float”??<\/p>\n

An “ADULT FLOAT”… Had to be investigated!<\/p><\/div>\n

Holy Mackerel Andy…\u00a0 The float from heaven!\u00a0 Actually it was pretty good but the alcoholic content was minimal.\u00a0 The main ingredient was “Not You Father’s Root Beer” which as 6% alcohol or 12 proof! It was a mild drink but refreshing!<\/p>\n

Sue tried it and like it!<\/p><\/div>\n

Paul enjoyed the adventure!\u00a0 It was quite delightful and worth a good story or two!<\/p>\n

Slurp Burp…. Good groceries<\/p><\/div>\n

Mid afternoon, we got ready to go to Malarkey’s and meet up with Greg and Irene for our sunset cocktails!\u00a0 It was only 7:00 when we departed and after getting home Sue had Cabin Fever again…<\/p>\n

We headed to the local Japanese restaurant called Kobe Steakhouse\u00a0 for a snack!\u00a0 Nothing like sushi before bed time!<\/p>\n

Sashimi special!<\/p><\/div>\n

The Sypder (Spider) Roll was delicious and it used soft-shelled crab as legs!<\/p>\n

Now we headed for home and will stay!<\/p>\n
