Executive Chef Joe Magnanelli oversees the Cucina culinary activities. He and his talented troop of chef de cuisines and executive sous chefs are dedicated to creating inventive, seasonal dishes as well as running an ambitious in-house effort the house made cheeses, charcuterie and sausage, artisan breads and pastas made from scratch.<\/p>\n
Cucina \u2019s wine shops comprise of over 250 familiar names and rare, small-batch gems from the Americas and Europe, with an emphasis on Italian varietals. Each location has an experienced in-house sommelier, making shopping for the perfect bottle a breeze.<\/p>\n
The Cucina is known for its “infusions” and Paul always tries two before coffee… We do NOT drink and drive!<\/p>\n

In the parking lot of Newport Center looking south-west was a magnificent sky!\u00a0 We headed to Old Ranch afterwords to meet up with Greg and have a nightcap!<\/p>\n
<\/a>As we departed the rain began pouring down!<\/p><\/div>\n
PCH was busy with traffic but we were in no hurry!<\/p>\n
<\/a>We had some traffic on the way home!<\/p><\/div>\n
PCH opened up and the traffic improved… So did the skyline!<\/p>\n
<\/a>The sky was amazing!<\/p><\/div>\n
As we pulled in to the Old Ranch parking lot the sun was lighting up the bottom of the storm clouds making them look ominous… Glad it is not Halloween!<\/p>\n
