We decided not to play golf today so Paul went on an extended walk of about four miles in an hour and a half. Join the walk!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Four<\/a>

Four miles felt pretty good<\/p><\/div>\n

We had some shopping and chores to do!\u00a0 Sue got here her\u00a0 glasses adjusted and Paul bought a new pair of shoes as the old ones are beginning to wear out (after eight years).\u00a0 We went to Hi-Time Liquor to get some special goodies for a friend’s birthday!\u00a0 Then we decided to go to Cucina Enoteca for a drink!<\/p>\n

Cucina Enotica at Newport Center<\/p><\/div>\n

The bartenders know us so Paul always orders two “infusions” and the bartenders enjoy mixing up some concoction!<\/p>\n

Paul gets a strange but interesting drink.\u00a0 This was like drinking autumn’s<\/p><\/div>\n

We stayed there for about an hour and Lei, our favorite bartender, took our picture.<\/p>\n

At Cucina Entoeca<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Exactly\"<\/a>

Exactly… Love the signs they have adjacent to their wine<\/p><\/div>\n

On the way home we took the Pacific Coast Highway!\u00a0 The construction in Huntington Beach was in full swing.\u00a0 They were pouring concrete on the third floor of one of the buildings.\u00a0 The concrete pumper liked like a gigantic bug!<\/p>\n

The concrete pump looked like a Praying Mantis<\/p><\/div>\n

As we drove home, the clouds began to look like the predicted rain might actually happen!<\/p>\n

Skies look threatening<\/p><\/div>\n

We went home and got ready to go dancing.\u00a0 We stopped at Patty’s Place for a drink and Paul got some lamb chops for dinner.\u00a0 We talked to some of the locals!<\/p>\n

We drove to the Phoenix Club and it did NOT look like rain was going to happen!\u00a0 Paul walked outside and indeed, it was raining!\u00a0 Connor was with us and he had to run outside and roll up the windows on his car!<\/p>\n

It came down hard for a few minuets<\/p><\/div>\n

Meanwhile inside the dancing was underway!<\/p>\n

We had 90 people join us this evening<\/p><\/div>\n

We danced until 10:30 and then headed for home!<\/p>\n
