We went to Royal Khyber for lunch and it was great!\u00a0 Paul found a new appetizer that might become a favorite.\u00a0 We then went across the street to South Coast Reperatory Theater for an afternoon of laughs and tears!\u00a0 Long story.<\/p>\n

It was “Of Good Stock” Of Good Stock directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch. Legendary novelist Mick Stockton left his three daughters a house in Cape Cod, control over his books, and a whole lot of issues. Years later, the men in their lives struggle to be part of this elusive family’s legacy. It\u2019s not always easy keeping up with the whip smart and very funny Stockton Sisters, especially during a weekend filled with dramatic confrontations and surprising confessions. But good scotch helps. And, in the end, what matters most is family in this new play by the writer whose work Time Out New York called \u201czesty, muscular and quick-witted.\u201d<\/p>\n
