We began the day with some work in the garden and got it prepared for the expected rain! We were supposed to have 1\/2 inch by noon and ended up with 0.2 inches at 9:00 pm!\u00a0 Oh well… It’s LA!<\/p>\n

Paul went for a 3.5 mile walk and then we headed to Old Ranch to have a round of golf with Angie and James.\u00a0 Rocky and Bullwinkle were behind us.<\/p>\n

We got to see the first baby duck of the 2015 Old Ranch season!\u00a0 The baby was cute and not afraid of us at all.\u00a0 Sue walked right up and fed the little guy!\u00a0 Mommy and daddy duck knew Grandma Sue from many feedings.<\/p>\n

Hey! I am the first baby of the season and I am hungry<\/p><\/div>\n

We got a text from Marianne and Craig who were visiting Lake Tahoe!\u00a0 They were in the middle of a big snowstorm!<\/p>\n

In the snow!<\/p><\/div>\n

The weather was interesting as it started out with sunshine and ended up cold and threatening!\u00a0 We had Happy Hour with the Walkers and Angie.\u00a0 After Angie departed at 5:20, we moved inside with the Walkers and enjoyed the soup and salad special!\u00a0 We went home and watched a movie (The American President) and Sue did the treadmill.\u00a0 About 9:00 the rain came in and gave us 0.2 inches at best!<\/p>\n

Rain rain please stay! We need all we can get!\u00a0 Our vegetable garden lapped it all up!<\/p><\/div>\n

We got a text from James (in Seal Beach) reporting a lot of rain!\u00a0 Looks like a cloud burst!<\/p>\n
