We went to breakfast with the Kuhn’s and Jon at Patty’s Place in Seal Beach.\u00a0 Great start to a great day!<\/p>\n

We then headed to Cerritos Performing Arts Center to see The Buddy Holly Story! FANTASTIC!!<\/p>\n

A sensation worldwide, Buddy \u2013 The Buddy Holly Story is a Rock \u2018n\u2019 Roll musical about Buddy Holly and his short-yet-spectacular career. The program features Holly\u2019s classic hits such as Peggy Sue, That\u2019ll Be the Day, Not Fade Away, and Oh Boy. The performance also includes La Bamba by Ritchie Valens and Chantilly Lace by The Big Bopper, both of whom died with Holly in a 1959 plane crash, a tragedy known as \u201cThe Day the Music Died.\u201d<\/p>\n

We then went to a birthday party in Yorba Linda and danced until we were silly!\u00a0 Happy Birthday Shirley!<\/p>\n
