We met up with Brian and Jan at the Sherman Gardens in Corona Del Mar. Sherman Library & Gardens is a 2.2 acre Corona del Mar horticultural retreat. The Gardens provide a museum of living plants, displayed amidst a setting of immaculate gardens, patios and conservatories linked together by wide brick walkways, beds blooming with seasonal flowers and bubbling tile fountains. \u00a0We had lunch at Cafe Jardin before walking the gardens.\u00a0 Join the fun!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

A wonderful day in the gardens<\/p><\/div>\n

We then headed to Newport Center and tipped a drink at the Irish Pub (Muldoon’s) before walking next door to see “The American Sniper”… What a powerful movie!<\/p>\n

Jan and Brian departed to see their\u00a0 tax person and we stopped at Cucina’s Restaurant for a quick drink before going to the Phoenix Club.\u00a0\u00a0 We sat at the bar and looked at their menu and what popped out? Stuffed Fried Squash Blossoms
\nHerb ricotta + purple basil pesto + cured lemon aioli!\u00a0 Must have… now!\u00a0 We did and it was fantastic.\u00a0 We found several other great dishes with vegetarian emphasis!\u00a0 We will be going back!<\/p>\n

Off to the Phoenix Club for an evening of dancing with\u00a0 friends!<\/p>\n
