We worked around the house before going to Seasons 52 for a great lunch before the play!\u00a0 At OC Performing Arts Center we saw “I Love Lucy”.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s 1952 and you are a member of the studio audience awaiting the filming of two hilarious and oh-so-familiar I LOVE LUCY\u00ae episodes. Imagine stepping back in time onto the Desilu Playhouse soundstage where a charming host entertains and enlightens you to the behind-the-scenes filming process, the 1950s hi-fidelity technology and this brand-new thing called \u201ctelevision.\u201d The episodes begin and you witness, firsthand, the side-splitting antics of that crazy redhead in the Ricardo\u2019s New York apartment and thrill to the Cuban sounds of \u201cThe Ricky Ricardo Orchestra\u201d at the famed Tropicana Nightclub. In-between scenes, The Crystaltone Singers perform live advertising jingles of the show\u2019s newest sponsors in perfect 50s style harmony. Can you say \u201cBrylcreem?!\u201d<\/p>\n

We returned home and them headed to the Garden Grove Elks for an evening of dancing with friends.\u00a0 The music was pretty good and we dance until about 10:30!\u00a0 The Branders, Roberts, Kuhns, Finches, and Zaits were at our table!<\/p>\n
