What a day… We started bright and early in the garden cleaning out the summer plants that were done and filling up two compost containers and three 100 gallon bags of “soon to be compost”.\u00a0 We started at 7am and finished off at 5pm!<\/p>\n

There were eight tomato plants in the blank area. We rototilled and covered it with straw<\/p><\/div>\n

More cleanup and weeding…<\/p><\/div>\n

\"No..<\/a>

No.. We do NOT make wine…. Yet! Great for eating!<\/p><\/div>\n

Some of our tomato plants are still producing… These are three pound beefstakes<\/p><\/div>\n

Sue worked magic in the kitchen.\u00a0 Paul would see her with her colander entering the gardening and harvesting tomatoes, onions, squash, herbs and other goodies and then disappearing for two hours while she prepared a fantastic dish.\u00a0 Yesterday she made ratatouille and it was simply amazing.\u00a0 You could taste summer with every bite.<\/p>\n

We cleaned up and watched “Smokey And The Bandit” until Bunnaford was available for a short visit!\u00a0 She is going on vacation for two weeks so we went to visit her last night… All was normal, Paul open and aluminum screw topped bottle of wine…. Well, Bunny gave him a corkscrew so he used it!<\/p>\n
