Colleen and Robin went to the market early and got the supplies we needed.  Today the plan is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go shopping for supplies needed for cookie backing and apple sauce<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Come to the Inn for a formal tea<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Return to Colleen&#8217;s and make cookies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Breakfast was wonderful again, as the Silver Fountain Chef does a superb job every day! I tried out the Sony camera that Joe gave me, and it appears to work fine. People served it at a high dining table after work, rather than on low lounge tables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Typical high tea might include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Hot tea<br>\u2022 Bread, butter, and jam<br>\u2022 Meat pies or cold meats<br>\u2022 Eggs or fish<br>\u2022 Cheese<br>\u2022 Cakes or scones<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">People often confuse it with afternoon tea, which is a more elegant, lighter service with tea, finger sandwiches, scones, and pastries, usually taken in the afternoon. The little girls enjoyed their teatime. Gail served us, and she kept things lively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Afternoon tea usually includes a selection of small, elegant foods served with tea. Their grandmother Colleen gasped. \u201cYou look like two cupcakes with elbows!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Great-aunt Robin waved from the tea table beside Great-grandma Mary and Great-grandpa Paul. The table glittered with tiny sandwiches, scones, and teacups so fancy that Emmy whispered, \u201cDo we have to bow to the cups?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Logann bowed anyway, bumped the table, and made a spoon leap into Great-grandma Emmsniffedp. \u201cThe spoon likes you,\u201d she announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Colleen poured tea. Emmsniffedff and said, \u201cThis soup smells like flowers.\u201d Robin laughed so hard her hat slid sideways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mary offered cucumber sandwiches. Logann opened hers. \u201cNo peanut butter? This sandwich forgot its middle.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Paul, trying to be royal, lifted his pinky. Emmy lifted both pinkies, then both feet, and nearly tipped backward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At dessert, the waiter brought strawberry cakes.
