Sue and I met at Rockwell in the early 1970s, but we were both married. We got together again in 1985 during Rockwell’s Space Station proposal activity, and we married in March 1988.<\/p>\n

We retired in March 2007 after 75 years with the Boeing Company. Retirement is the point at which a person stops working completely. While most people worry about “adjusting to retirement,” we fell into it immediately. The next day would be proper!<\/p>\n

We are so busy these days that I am often tickled by the thought of going back to work to rest (not!). Part of retirement is working on our website, which is a collection of humor and observations about retirement (aka being old). Please enjoy!<\/p>\n

The Lord took my precious Sue in February of 2020, and I was devastated, having lost my sidekick of 35 years!<\/p>\n

Sue told me in no uncertain terms that should something happen, either of us should move on with the support of our families.<\/p>\n

In July 2020, I asked a mutual friend out to dinner. Dr. Mary C\u00f4t\u00e9, Sue, and I have known each other for almost a quarter of a century. The dinner was just a simple “Hey, how’s it going?”, but over a year, it blossomed into a full-scale romance. On the first anniversary of our first date, we got married at the same restaurant with a small group of friends and family. Join the fun!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

We are so happy that the Good Lord sent us in each other’s direction.\u00a0 We decided to she the past and move into a new home in Orange, and after a few years, Mary transformed the house into our own love nest!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n
