The Candlelight Dinner Theater Annual Christmas Play (Page One)
We have been going since 1987 starting with just Sue and Paul and our Mom's. This year is 22 years! This year we have 30 in our group! It gets better every year! Try it in Powerpoint!
For the past 28 years the Candlelight Pavilion has presented 28 original, family-friendly Christmas stories with all the joy and magic you would expect of the holiday season. This year we continue that tradition with a heartwarming story that will surely melt the hardest of hearts.
As is our custom, the children are asked to join Santa on stage during the performance. It is there that the true magic of Christmas is found, in the smiling faces and twinkling eyes of those who are wise enough to believe in the miracle of Christmas. At the conclusion of the show there is also a photo opportunity with the big guy himself, so don't forget your camera. Join us as we celebrate the holidays at the Candlelight Pavilion with love, hope and a little Santa magic!
Today's stpry revolves around a radio station that is in trouble. The performance is in jearpody becuase of an avalanche and everybody, including thre kids in the audience, has to help!
Did you know? - Dinner theater (sometimes called dinner and a show) is a form of entertainment that combines a restaurant meal with a staged play. Sometimes the play is incidental entertainment, secondary to the meal, in the style of a night club, or the play may be a major production with dinner less important, or in some cases, optional. Within the hierarchy of theatre, dinner theatre is below Fringe theatre and Summer stock theatre but above Community Theatre and Educational Productions. Dinner theatre requires the management of three distinct entities: a live theatre, a restaurant, and usually, a bar.
