Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar was aradio drama of "the transcribed adventures of the man with the action-packed expense account — America's fabulous freelanceinsurance investigator." The show aired on CBS Radio from January 14, 1949 to September 30, 1962. There were 811 episodes in the 12-year run, and more than 720 still exist today.

The Shadow is a collection of serialized dramas, originally on 1930s radio and then in a wide variety of media, that follow the exploits of the title character, a crime-fighting vigilante withpsychic powers.[2] One of the most famouspulp heroes of the 20th century, The Shadow has been featured incomic books,comic strips,television,video games, and at least fivemotion pictures. Theradio drama is well-remembered for those episodes voiced byOrson Welles.
