AudioVox Xpress Xpress XMCK10A, with the new XM Sure Connect, offers great functionality to to with its sleek design--all at an affordable rate. The Xpress comes packaged with everything needed to receive XM Radio service in any vehcile with an FM radio.
You can also play this radio in your home with the Xpress Home Kit (sold seperately) and also with the Xpress Boombox. XMCK-10A comes with the Xpress Car Kit.
This includes mounting accessories, 12volt vehicle power adapter, car cradle, mini-micro car antenna, and a cassette adapter.
Also included is a full-functional remote control and the Audiovox Xpress Receiver

- XM SureConnect Vehicle Installation Guide - Included in this package is the new XM Sure Connect. Easy to use and install, SureConnect consists of a rubber boot and a SureConnect clip. Simply run single cable to an existing FM antenna. Then clip XM Sure connect to that antenna. Anyone can do it and get professional results.

Coverage
XM Radio coverage area is smaller than Sirius and static - its two satellites don't move and are designed to give the U.S. the best coverage. The below is the farthest reaches of the XM Radio coverage area, and the service will be very spotty at the edges:
Antennas for XM radio are best pointed to the South. As can bee seen in the animation above, the XM satellites are on both sides of the U.S., so the longitude of the aiming is not very important.
The angle of the XM satellites means XM often has a more vertical angle to many locations. This means the XM signal can have a harder time angling beneath bridges, trees, etc., and service can be intermittent. XM's repeaters are more numerous but weaker. The coverage area of the repeater network is similar at this point, but as Sirius expands its repeater network it will likely become stronger.
