Yummy!!!\u00a0 But after the steak, we took most of the dessert home!<\/p><\/div>\n
The meal was great.\u00a0 On the way to the house, I even captured our flags waving in the breeze \u2014 proudly saluting two satisfied Americans who had just done their patriotic duty: supporting local beef.<\/p>\n

Upon arrival, Mary went to the mailbox and retrieved several cards, and a package addressed to her was waiting on the front door walkway.\u00a0 Bonnie sent Mary two decorative lanterns, which will be perfect on the patio.<\/p>\n
Mary made quite a haul this year \u2014 gifts, cake, attention, the whole operation.\u00a0 In fact, she did so well that she’s already planning a second birthday in October.\u00a0 At this point, it’s less of a birthday and more of a quarterly fundraising event.<\/p>\n
Mary says, “Thanks for all the emails, messages, phone calls, letters, and gifts from all of you!”<\/p>\n
