We slept late this morning, not waking up until after 8:30 am.\u00a0 Mary is trying to come down with a cold, and I had a rough first night, as I couldn’t sleep due to coughing!\u00a0 \u00a0Scout was somehow let outside earlier, but we do not know which one of us sent him out!<\/p>\n

Today was busy with all sorts of things going on.\u00a0 We began with a quick visit to the garden.\u00a0 At 10:30 am, our handyman came by and he sanded and painted about 20 feet of fascia board, which faces the sun all afternoon.<\/p>\n

He also moved a large sandbag and then relocated one of the spa heaters to the garage so I could adjust it, making it easier to start.\u00a0\u00a0He departed around noon.\u00a0 Tom has assisted us for several years now.<\/p>\n

Mary zoomed off to her painting class at 12:30 pm, armed with more brushes than a toddler in a finger-painting competition!.<\/p>\n

I stayed at home, waiting for the arrival of our “saltman” to drop by and deliver three bags of salt for the soft-warmer machine.<\/p>\n

The wind was down, so I changed the flag to Mother’s Day and put up the Mother’s Day banner.<\/p>\n

The banner looks pretty good!<\/p><\/div>\n

After Mary returned home, we visited the garden.\u00a0 We got ready to leave for dinner with Vicky and Jim.\u00a0 Dinner was a load of fun with Vicky giving us a blow-by-blow description of their recent trip!<\/p>\n

Vicky’s camera gave us a tour through Spain, Portugal, and Italy.<\/p><\/div>\n

Returning home, we watched The Blacklist before crashing for the evening.<\/p>\n
