We were on the road again!<\/p><\/div>\n

The morning was fantastic, and we could see 100 miles.\u00a0 There was not a cloud in the sky, and the temperature was forecasted to be 80 degrees.\u00a0 We had a tiny breakfast and prepared to depart for the Elks at 11:30 am for their annual Christmas Boutique.<\/p>\n

Amen!!<\/p><\/div>\n

We drove leisurely to the Lodge, and the parking lot was packed! Oh My, this activity is becoming more popular every year.<\/p>\n

We stumbled upon Robin and Bob, who must have used a time machine to beat us here!\u00a0 We found Robin’s hair comb, which she had had for thirty years.\u00a0 She left it at our place last Thursday, so we brought it today!<\/p>\n

We had a glass of wine before shopping just to loosen up!<\/p>\n

I heard someone say, “The witch and the warlock are kissing again? They should get a broom!”<\/p>\n

We are ready to go boutiquing!<\/p><\/div>\n

Wall-to-wall people and booths (not booze!).\u00a0 We went up and down each aisle examining the wares, some of which were quite clever!!<\/p>\n

The house was packed!<\/p><\/div>\n

The girls found matching scarves, and they came home with us, the girls, and the scarves.<\/p>\n

The Bobbsey Twins<\/p><\/div>\n

My job is bag carrier.\u00a0 Notice the precise balance between bags and booze; it’s an acquired capability of which I am a grand master.<\/p>\n

By the way, look at the shirt. It is a new acquisition from the OC Fair this summer\u2014a High Seas Trading Company special!<\/p>\n

When we stand together, it looks like someone’s paint pallette gone wild.\u00a0 We are psychedelically challenged.\u00a0 We did get a lot of comments from the passersby.<\/p>\n

Correction! BAGS!<\/p><\/div>\n

After an hour of serious shopping, we were tired and had to sit down and quench our thirst.\u00a0 We have been sipping on this one glass of wine all afternoon long.<\/p>\n

The kids are off to Disneyland for the rest of the afternoon, and we are going to Benji’s for lunch before they close.<\/p>\n

We had a glass of vino before departing.<\/p><\/div>\n

I told Mary, “Grab your broomstick so we can make a clean getaway.”<\/p>\n

We left the lodge around 2:00 p.m. and headed to Benji’s in Tustin, a few miles away. We sat in the bar, and I took a selfie of us.<\/p>\n

I have NO IDEA what Dr. Mary is doing because I was concentrating on getting the two of us in the frame.\u00a0 She mumbled, “Ghouls just want to have fun”<\/p>\n

This picture reminds me of Romeo and Ghouliet.<\/p>\n

I ordered a small pastrami sandwich, and they overachieved.\u00a0 One-half of this puppy went to Jeff, our dear neighbor.\u00a0 Mary had the chicken noodle soup with a matsaball, otherwise known as Jewish Penicillin!<\/p>\n

Upon returning home, we delivered lunch to Jeff and then napped until almost 6:00 p.m. We had to get up, or we would not have slept all night.<\/p>\n
