and then she mentioned it was sugar-free!<\/p><\/div>\n<p>I ordered the lox and bagel selection, and this is the first time it came as a burger!\u00a0 It was delightful!\u00a0 Lox is a fillet of brined salmon, which may be smoked.\u00a0 Lox is frequently served on a bagel with cream cheese and often garnished with tomato, sliced onion, cucumbers, and capers.<\/p>\n<p>While lox may be delicious, the term is quite confusing \u2014 what we now call lox, derived from the German word for salmon, lachs, is, in fact smoked salmon.
