I’ve learned that life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes.<\/p>\n
It’s that time of the year when Mary and I like to watch Halloween movies. This morning, we were frightened by the movie “Monster With The Aluminum Head.”\u00a0 I may have nightmares!<\/p>\n
Okay, so the truth is that we had hair appointments. Mine only took a few minutes since I have only one hair, but Mary’s took much longer.\u00a0 I save money; she trims the one hair and combs it with a washcloth!<\/p>\n
What do you call lice on the hairless head of a man? Homeless.<\/p>\n

“I sell the aluminum foil afterward!”<\/p><\/div>\n
We love holiday attire. I found the perfect outfit for Mary as the weather gets colder.\u00a0 This month I am wearing my Halloween shirts every day!<\/p>\n

If she had her hat on, RUN!<\/p><\/div>\n
After leaving the hairdresser, we went to the Elks Lodge where we met Bob Z. We discussed and finalized the arrangements for Saturday night. The lunch at the Elks Lodge was quite good and after a while, Bill Capps arrived. We made plans to meet with him and Mary to dance later in the evening.<\/p>\n

The Lodge was decorated well!<\/p><\/div>\n
As we departed the Lodge, the front door display was ready for Halloween.\u00a0 It was spooktacular!<\/p>\n

We are not sure we want to sit at this table!<\/p><\/div>\n
Mary found a friend.\u00a0 He had just come back from his Weight Watchers meeting and was feeling a bit hungry!<\/p>\n
Why are skeletons so calm? Because nothing gets under their skin.<\/p>\n

We worked around the house until 7 p.m., then headed to Tustin Senior Citizens Center for music and dancing. The usual suspects were present.\u00a0 The music was perfect for dancing and we did waltzes, cha-chas,\u00a0 swing, rumba, and some other things we made upas we went.<\/p>\n

The Smoothies did a superb job this evening<\/p><\/div>\n
We made it back home at 10:00 p.m., watched a movie, and then crashed.<\/p>\n
