OK, it sounded like a good idea!\u00a0 We went to the Presidents Ball at the Nixon Library sponsored by a Ballroom Dancing Group (whose name shall go unidentified).\u00a0 We got there at 2:00 since we brought many of the tickets and we enjoyed the library grounds and exhibits.\u00a0 As the time for the dance grew closer, we began to get worried as it appeared there were not enough tables for everyone, the dinner was sandwiches, and the music was not very dancable by us.\u00a0 We stayed to watch for a while but the crowd were “ballroom experts” which means they looked a bit constrained, the music was “interesting”, and it did not look like fun.\u00a0 While we are sure it must be fun for some, the twisting of heads and snapping and arms just was NOT our style.\u00a0 Please join the evening!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

We decided to leave when Marianne and Craig stopped by on their way out!\u00a0 Vicky & Del were next and then Jim & Jan!\u00a0 We followed suit and went to Mimi’s where we had a ball.\u00a0 We actually sat at a table, had a glass of wine (or two), and laughed and giggled the rest of the evening!<\/p>\n
