Today, we celebrated Lisa and Patrick’s baby shower at Diane’s house.\u00a0 Lisa accidentally let the cat out of the bag on Friday during dinner.\u00a0 Bennett will join us in September, and we are excited about it.\u00a0 Both Mama and the baby are healthy!<\/p>\n

Lisa asked me, “Does the stork deliver babies with their diapers on?” I had to answer, “No, they’re stork naked!”<\/p>\n

We had a great time with our family.<\/p><\/div>\n

The family gathers, and the fun begins!\u00a0 The lunch was just right for a hot day!<\/p>\n

\"\"

Lunch is served!<\/p><\/div>\n

There are two tables available and ample time to socialize.\u00a0 We will be seeing them again, probably in September, when we have to drive to San Franciso to get our Global Entry interviews.<\/p>\n

It was 95 degrees outside but cool inside.<\/p><\/div>\n

We get stories about the first two trimesters; I mentioned that the last four trimesters were easier and got a strange look!<\/p>\n

\"\"

The kids look happy; only three months to go… September 20th is the target date.<\/p><\/div>\n

We departed Diane’s at about 3:00 PM and took a two-hour nap to prepare for tomorrow’s long drive home.<\/p>\n

We got up at 6:00 PM and went to La Fondue.\u00a0 The manager, Chloe, greeted us warmly and escorted us to our table.\u00a0 She even gave us a complimentary glass of champagne!<\/p>\n

The Silver Fox was grateful that we decided to walk since the restaurant was only two blocks away.<\/p>\n

We walked to dinner.<\/p><\/div>\n

“Bring on the food!” Mary was ready for “The Wild Thing,” and it wasn’t me this time.<\/p>\n

\"\"

More fondue is on the way!<\/p><\/div>\n

I took some photos at the fabulous restaurant with my date. We had a blast together and finished a bottle of wine in two hours. We planned to walk home, otherwise, we would have only had one glass of wine and an iced tea.<\/p>\n

Buried in here was Alligator, Buffalo, Wild Duck, Ostrich, Wild Boar, and Venison; it could not be passed up!\u00a0 Mary looked a little worried but she jumped right in and tried everything!<\/p>\n

We are grilling up the goodies!<\/p><\/div>\n

The wine helped wash down the “gamey” taste.\u00a0 We think they added some roadkill just for us!\u00a0 The meat was not gamey at all and pretty much tasted like chicken!<\/p>\n

Mary needed a drink before grilling up the venison, wild boar, alligator, and other strange meats!<\/p><\/div>\n

Dang, the camera works.<\/p>\n

Josh was our waiter, and he added some fire to our chocolate fondue!<\/p>\n
