Why was it so hot in the stadium after the baseball game? All the fans left!<\/p>\n
After Scout had done his morning activity, he came running into the house with a piece of paper, wanting us to read it.\u00a0 He barked it was from a neighbor who had lost his pet.\u00a0 We opened it up and were slightly surprised.<\/p>\n

Lost but NOT forgotten!<\/p><\/div>\n
We worked in the house all day with some gardening activities.\u00a0 \u00a0Mary deadheaded the roses again and put on some fungi repellent.\u00a0 I trimmed, moved the 100 foot black hose around, and put in two new hydrants.<\/p>\n
Mary went inside with two huge zucchini and several other items she had harvested.\u00a0 She made stuffed zucchini!<\/p>\n

Mary is an amazing chef!<\/p><\/div>\n
We then worked in the office, paying bills, arranging our social life, and calling friends.<\/p>\n
Finally, we were getting “cabin fever,” at 3:30 pm, we went to Aces Bar and Grill, had a glass of vino, and some jalapeno poppers.<\/p>\n

Late afternoon snack at Ace’s.<\/p><\/div>\n
The “guys” were there (6-8 fellows that meet at Ace’s 3:30 on Wednesdays).\u00a0 We set the jukebox to Boby Darin before we entered; they were ready for us; they knew, based on the music, that we were close by!\u00a0 We got a standing ovation.<\/p>\n

We control the music.<\/p><\/div>\n
While finishing the appetizers, we decided to take some stuffed zucchini to David and Dianne’s which is a good excuse to visit them for a while.\u00a0 \u00a0We swapped stories and laughed a lot.\u00a0 David is going to beat the cancer one way or another!<\/p>\n
When we got home, we were not hungry, so we popped into the swim spa for three cycles which always made us drowsy and ready to crash.<\/p>\n

We laugh and giggle like two little kids!<\/p><\/div>\n
It was the first day of summer, and every day will get shorter until December 21st!\u00a0 The sunset was at 8:06 pm, and the Moon and Venus came out to play a half-hour after that.<\/p>\n

Venus and the Moon were bright in the sky!<\/p><\/div>\n
We called Colleen, Greg, and Lee Barachman (my high school lady friend).\u00a0 We walked to everyone, but Lee, who was in the desert dune buggy riding with her grandson!<\/p>\n
When I took Scout out for his evening constitutional, I snapped a picture of the watering can pouring LED lights.<\/p>\n

Good Night All<\/p><\/div>\n
We crashed; we read without TV (we both have Kindle Paperwhites).\u00a0 I used ice on my face from the surgery as it was puffy and turning blue\/grey.\u00a0 I didn’t notice any difference.<\/p>\n
Right before going to bed, I did go out and shine four more pairs of shoes.\u00a0 I told Mary to buff the shoes; one had to be in the buff!\u00a0 I guess I will be doing her shoes for her.<\/p>\n
