We were up early as we have a long drive to Camarillo to visit Diane and the grandkids.\u00a0 In addition, we are going to the Regan Library to see the Auschwitz exhibition.<\/p>\n
Mary picked a mess of sweetpeas to take to the ladies.<\/p>\n

Reaching for the sky!<\/p><\/div>\n
We jumped in the Silver Fox and headed north taking the 22 –> 405 –> 101 and arrived at 11:15 am, right on schedule.\u00a0 We visited for a while and met the cat and the chickens.<\/p>\n
Now we are off to the Reagan Library which is about 20 minutes away.<\/p>\n

We did have quite a walk aas the parking lots were full to the brim; a nice shuttle bus came and got us!<\/p><\/div>\n
Today we will see the Auschwitz exhibit where much of the Holocaust took place although we learned the butchery took place over a wide area of Nazi-occupied Europe.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The Holocaust was the systematic, state-sponsored persecution and murder of six million European Jews by the Nazi German regime and its allies and collaborators. The Holocaust was an evolving process that took place throughout Europe between 1933 and 1945.<\/p>\n
The display was quite sobering and I only picture.\u00a0 \u00a0The exhibit was done in good taste and was quite factual about what happened with a complete run-up to the events of WWII going back five hundred years.<\/p>\n

We had the 1:30 pm to 3;00 pm slot.<\/p><\/div>\n
We went to the gift shop; we had to get our Jelly Belly fix!\u00a0 Steven went to get the car so we did not have to take the bus or walk.<\/p>\n

It was a perfect day!<\/p><\/div>\n
Where do we dine?\u00a0 The Cheesecake Factory was perfect, they had everything.<\/p>\n

Next time we will bring Grandma a step ladder!<\/p><\/div>\n
I looked at the menu and panicked as everything was 900+ calories and then I spotted the “Slim Menu”.\u00a0 May did the salmon and I tried their burger weighing in at 550 calories.\u00a0 Both meals were perfect and plenty of food.\u00a0 We did however attack their bread.<\/p>\n

While I wanted dessert, every one of the, had a calorie count complete with a comma so that was out.<\/p>\n

Ready for the drive home; 90 minutes on the freeway!<\/p><\/div>\n
We hit the road at 6:00 pm and were home at 7:20 pm making excellent time with sary a slowdown along the 90-mile trip!\u00a0 Mary and I talked about the exhibit we saw today, it was troubling at best.<\/p>\n
