We were busy today getting ready for the family’s landing at noon!\u00a0 I moved tables and chairs and straightened up the garage before Joe saw the mess.\u00a0 Mary removed the tablecloths from their storage locations and helped me set the tables.\u00a0 We both made a list of things to get at Ralph’s before everyone arrived.<\/p>\n

I made Ralph’s trip and came back with several bags of goodies.\u00a0 We are ready!<\/p>\n

We both love family!\u00a0 Easter is an excellent time to get together!<\/p><\/div>\n

Everyone arrived on time, so we went from zero to sixty in just a few minutes.\u00a0 The first thing to do was a garden tour.\u00a0 Everyone headed to the south forty for a walk around.\u00a0 Mary and I took different groups.\u00a0 They enjoyed the signage.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, inside the house, Joe and Amy relax, knowing that food will fly everywhere.\u00a0 Within a few minutes, the great chewing sounds will start.<\/p>\n

Joe flew the drone and recorded Irene and Paul walking the garden.\u00a0 From this angle, you can see how big the garden is; it is not a tiny plot!<\/p>\n

The Grill Whizard carefully approaches the kiln, says a few short chants, and plops the Bubba Burgers onto the red hot grill.\u00a0 Smoke rises quickly, and within minutes several tribes of local Indians come to the door suggesting the person doing the smoke signals take some serious spelling lessons!\u00a0 Zack’s response, “I said what?”<\/p>\n

Zack is a man of many talents!<\/p><\/div>\n

We cannot figure out how he does it, but his grilling skills are exceptional; the burgers (and hot dogs) were terrific!<\/p>\n

After we dined, it was time to find the eggs and make magnificent colored eggs.\u00a0 The little ones were off and running!<\/p>\n

The boys are making believe they are not looking for eggs, but we know better!<\/p>\n

The boys are “too old” for this, so what are they doing?<\/p><\/div>\n

The coloring begins!\u00a0 Paint flying everywhere.<\/p>\n

Scout heard the word “paint” and scampered into the other room, terrified!<\/p>\n

We had a wonderful day with family!\u00a0 After everyone departed, we went to Home Depot and got the fixings for the vertical veggie garden.<\/p>\n
