Seven AM, and we are vertical and feeling pretty good.\u00a0 The coughs are dissipating and the energy levels are increasing; we are going to make it through the holidays!\u00a0 We got our coffee and took the morning stroll through the garden.\u00a0 Mary is always on the lookout for strawberries and she found one this morning.\u00a0 I can always tell from the chomping sound followed by a long m-m-m-m-m-m-m-m-m sound!<\/p>\n

College and strawberries are a great way to start the day!<\/p><\/div>\n

We worked in the office for a while, paying those pesky bills.\u00a0 I worked on the Christmas website for 2022, attempting to keep up with the activities.<\/p>\n

Mary went out to check the mail and came running back inside, waving an envelope and yelling, “Santa sent a letter to Scout!!”\u00a0 What was that silly dog up to now??\u00a0 We opened it for him but wondered why he did not open the letter himself because he had sent a letter to Santa.\u00a0 It’s a puzzlement!<\/p>\n

What else has he been up to?<\/p><\/div>\n

Juan is coming over Wednesday and detailing the Grey Ghost and Silver Fox, so we had to get the garage in order.\u00a0 I refuse to pay for detailing and then let the car stay outside.\u00a0 The Grey Ghost has its own car cover, so we will put that on for the holidays!<\/p>\n

To finish the garage, we got out the blowup decorations and began putting them up!\u00a0 We got two of the four finished before it started dark; now, we have a job for tomorrow morning.<\/p>\n

We are finally decorated!<\/p><\/div>\n

We put together a care package and trotted off to Jan’s for the first visit in about two weeks.\u00a0 We are free and clear of the creeping crud, so we wanted to say hello!\u00a0 We stopped by Ralph’s market for some sushi before arriving at Jan’s.\u00a0 We stayed about two hours just catching up.<\/p>\n

While there, we called Mike Andersen and Hans Thedens and talked to them for quite a while.<\/p>\n
