Fact:\u00a0 While there may be some heat transfer, frying an egg requires temperatures of at least 158 degrees Fahrenheit.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>While some areas have soared into the triple digits at times, that extreme temperature\u2014thankfully\u2014hasn’t been recorded on Earth.<\/em><\/p>\n

I had a conversation with a friend at the end of the conversation; this cartoon seemed very appropriate.<\/p>\n

We were up bright and early this morning and decided we might go out and sit by the fire.\u00a0 Morning is wonderful. Its only drawback is that it comes at such an inconvenient time of day.<\/p>\n

What is the fireplace and enjoyed about 15 minutes of quiet and our coffee before mother nature decided to sprinkle us with fresh water.\u00a0 We went back under the patio cover and finished our coffee before starting the day.<\/p>\n

It rained all morning.<\/p><\/div>\n

Rain doesn\u2019t fall. Raindrops.<\/p>\n

We took a stroll through the new garden to ensure that the water was properly flowing into the drains, and we had success; there wasn’t a wet spot of any significance in the garden.<\/p>\n

Ready for dirt!<\/p><\/div>\n

We covered up the chairs and turned off the fire, but it was nice while it lasted.<\/p>\n

The 36″ stainless fire ring puts out a lot of heat!<\/p><\/div>\n

We signed up for an Elks Lodge event entitled visit to Motown.\u00a0 It featured a nine-piece band, and I figured it would be loud in music I would not enjoy.\u00a0 I was wrong, the music was terrific, and I even got up and danced.\u00a0 The girls had a great time doing their line-dancing thing.<\/p>\n

Yes, they are using agent 99’s trick shoes to communicate with each other.\u00a0 I would suggest, don’t ask, don’t tell.<\/p>\n

Great fun!<\/p><\/div>\n

The dance floor was busy all night long, with scads of people going on and off the floor.\u00a0 Mary and I got out there a dozen times and shook my booty even though I didn’t know what booty was.\u00a0 It was a real pain in the butt.<\/p>\n

The music was lively!<\/p><\/div>\n

What do you call Al Gore dancing?\u00a0\u00a0Algorythym.<\/p>\n

We stayed until almost 10 o’clock because we were having so much fun.\u00a0 We headed home and decided we needed to sit in the hot tub after all that exercise.\u00a0 It was a good day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
