Fact: Men Sweat More Than Women!\u00a0 <\/strong>While women have more sweat glands than men, according to the U.S. National Library of Medicine, men’s sweat glands are more active, leading them to sweat more than women.\u00a0 The more you sweat, the more quickly you can dehydrate, leading to other health issues.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

According to a recent article I just read on nutrition, they said eating right doesn’t have to be complicated.\u00a0 Nutritionists say there is a simple way to tell if you’re eating right.\u00a0 Colors.\u00a0 Fill your plates with bright colors.\u00a0 Greens, reds, yellows.<\/p>\n

In fact, I did that this morning.\u00a0 I had an entire bowl of M&M’s.\u00a0 It was delicious!\u00a0 I never knew eating right could be so easy.<\/p>\n

We hit the backyard first thing before it gets hotter.\u00a0 We planted a mess of onions and dug up several planter boxes to put in new veggies.\u00a0 The She-Cart is perfect since it holds a lot, is easy to maneuver, and I can pick it up loaded and put the contents into the green trash can.<\/p>\n

We have a new batch of cilantro now, and we checked out the drip system as we planted.\u00a0 Mary is cooking so much she ought to have a larger herb garden.<\/p>\n

If Mary wants a herb garden I will make sure she gets one!<\/p>\n

Maybe this will keep away the pests?<\/p><\/div>\n

I had had these long white boxes for over ten years, and we will probably still keep them after the garden gets finished; we will use them for herbs.<\/p>\n

We have cilantro by the bushels.<\/p><\/div>\n

Did I say onions?\u00a0 I remember when Mary was surprised when I cut the onion in the shape of a die.\u00a0 I just followed the instruction asking me to dice the onions.<\/p>\n

I asked Mary, “What do you get when you cross a bean and an onion?\u00a0 “She waited for the obvious smart-ass answer that was coming, “Teargas.”<\/p>\n

Onions in about 6-8 weeks.<\/p><\/div>\n

Our whirlygigs look pretty good; they will be great in the new garden.<\/p>\n

The whirley-gig was running this morning.<\/p><\/div>\n

At 11:00 AM, we went to breakfast at The Original Pancake House in Orange.\u00a0 We split a veggie omelet, and I had a side of bacon.\u00a0 The whole bill was only $24.\u00a0 There were 1980 calories in the omelet; thank goodness we split it!<\/p>\n

From there, we went to Huntington Beach and visited Mary’s old office, where I had two new glasses ready for pickup.\u00a0 Dr. Mary takes care of my eyes.<\/p>\n

What do you call a student studying to become an eye doctor?\u00a0 A pupil.<\/h3>\n

Mary told me of her Chinese patient, a lovely guy!\u00a0 Mary said to the Chinese man: “We found the problem; you have a cataract.” The Chinese man replies: “No, I drive a Rincon.”<\/p>\n

We reversed course and set sail for home via CVS, where I picked up a new blood pressure medicine.<\/p>\n

The temperature outside was in the high 90s, so we stayed inside and watched TV.<\/p>\n

Dinner is served, or should I say “snipped!”<\/p><\/div>\n

We got a text from Lisa, who was winging their way west for a week in the islands.\u00a0 Lisa is my niece and a lovely young lady!<\/p>\n

Lisa sent a picture of her and her new hubby on their way to Hawaii for their honeymoon!<\/p><\/div>\n

We binged on “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisal” until 9:30 PM and then crashed.\u00a0 We are preparing for the weekend; it will be warm!<\/p>\n

It is so hot\u2026 I saw a dog chasing a cat, and they were both walking.<\/p>\n
