We are armed and ready to go!<\/p><\/div>\n

Colleen hit the road as she is visiting her cousin in Arizona.\u00a0 They met through Dave Mall, my second cousin.\u00a0 She is also going to visit my late Uncle Chuck’s daughter.\u00a0 The van will get another good run.<\/p>\n

Cousins Chelsea and Colleen; they finally meet after almost half a century!<\/p><\/div>\n

We hit the yard again, and it is now as perfect as it is going to be.\u00a0 Under the flagpole was dry (it needs to be rototilled), so I went after the dirt with a four-pronged spade and turned the soil.\u00a0 It was indeed thirsty.<\/p>\n

As raindrops say, two\u2019s company, three\u2019s a cloud.<\/p>\n

I ran the water for almost an hour, and the ground just kept drinking.\u00a0 Remember, \u201cGardens are not made by singing \u2018Oh, how beautiful,\u2019 and sitting in the shade.\u201d ~Rudyard Kipling<\/em><\/p>\n

You better believe it!<\/p><\/div>\n

The orange and avocado trees are doing quite well in the front yard.\u00a0 The flowers are all drought tolerant and we have mulched them almost two inches.<\/p>\n

The yard looks wonderful; all our neighbors comment on how it looks!<\/p><\/div>\n

The new plumeria (in the four pots) are doing well and show start showing leaves within a week or two.<\/p>\n

The front patio is one of the next projects.<\/p><\/div>\n

Now to the backyard, we trek.\u00a0 We planted watermelon, and I did some tree trimming around the base of the trees.\u00a0 \u00a0I had a friend who went to a Star Trek fancy dress party dressed as a tree. He was the Captain\u2019s Log.<\/p>\n

Dinner is served; we had zoodles again, and they were better this time.\u00a0 They had overnight to soak in the sauce.\u00a0 The sausages are treated with habaneros and had a slight fire to them.\u00a0 We were going to have watermelon, but I had two helpings, and no room was available at the inn.<\/p>\n

We made the zoodles with a spiralizer.<\/p>\n

Dinner was magnificent; Zoodles forever!<\/p><\/div>\n

The are easy to make and even Colleen enjoyed them; no cards, yeah!<\/p>\n

One minute in the microwave makes them soft and ready to use!<\/p><\/div>\n

After dinner, we went to the Swim Spa for a good hour and talked.\u00a0 We waved our glass of wine until after the spa so we could sit by the fire.<\/p>\n

It was a wonderful day!<\/p>\n

Just a thought!<\/p>\n
