Fact: You can eat the labels on fruit. They’re totally edible much of the time…<\/strong> they might not taste that good. Still, probably a good idea to peel them off first.<\/em><\/p>\n

I woke up this morning coughing badly, I think I may have pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis, but it’s hard to say.<\/p>\n

I saw an old car drive by and thought of days gone by. I owned a 62 and a 64 chevy; they were quite some vehicles.\u00a0 I keep thinking about how old I am. I used to be able to do cartwheels. Now I tip over putting on my underwear.<\/p>\n

Off to the gym, we went and gave it our all for 50 minutes. From there, we went to Los Alamitos to do a check-in at the hospital and get a COVID-19 test. We got out of there at about 11:15 AM. I don’t find health-related puns funny anymore since I started suffering from an irony deficiency.<\/p>\n

They told us Mary had to stay outside since she has not had the shots. She can’t have the shots, so we decided to get a test done this afternoon.<\/p>\n

The adult version of “head, shoulders, knees and toes” is “wallet, glasses, keys and phone.<\/p>\n

How very, very true!<\/p><\/div>\n

We went to Girls Night Out from the hospital, where I pigged out because I can’t eat tomorrow morning due to the procedure. The swordfish was outstanding, and a couple of drinks helped things out.\u00a0 Mary shared her salmon with me!\u00a0 What, me worry?<\/p>\n

Then we ran by the house and picked up Scout for his appointment at the beauty parlor.<\/p>\n

While we were there, Gary was moving the “digger” into the backyard; our dirt is HARD!<\/p>\n

We dropped off the baby at The Clip Joint and headed to Huntington Beach so Mary could get tested.\u00a0 \u00a0They have finally figured things out and we were in and out in ten minutes. She got the results via e-mail and of course, no COVID.<\/p>\n

Mary looked a little worried when she saw the sign.<\/p><\/div>\n

We went to Aces for some snacks while we awaited Scout’s procedures to be completed. Aces Bar & Grill is located two blocks away from the groomer.\u00a0 \u00a0I got to thinking, which is always a bit dangerous.<\/p>\n

While having a glass of vino, my security camera buzzed so I watched the guys begin the excavation of the harden. The initial excavation is for the footing for the walls.<\/p>\n

Returning home, we walked the backyard, picked more tomatoes, and looked at the progress in the new veggie garden.\u00a0 In about a week I plan to mix some of the old dirt with amendments and see what I get. It is hard and I suspect it is clay.<\/p>\n

Scout was so happy that he wanted to play so he got a great scratching.<\/p>\n

Such a pretty baby, and so is Scout!<\/p><\/div>\n

Mary, being an MD, has heard all the medical jokes, so I tried a new one:<\/p>\n

Patient:<\/strong> ‘Doctor, my hair keeps falling out. Have you got anything to keep it in?’
\nDoctor:<\/strong> ‘What about a cardboard box?’<\/p>\n

More digging tomorrow!<\/p><\/div>\n

We watched a movie and talked until 11:00 PM, and then Mary fixed me angel hair pasta with tomatoes, oil, and garlic. It will be my last meal until probably 4:00 PM tomorrow. I hate afternoon procedures! Then I remembered; statistically…. 9 out of 10 injections are in vein.<\/p>\n
