Paul: “Doctor Mary, I get heartburn every time I eat birthday cake.” Doctor Mary: “Next time, take off the candles.”<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Today we celebrate, and we start by getting everything ready for this afternoon’s wild party.\u00a0 The dancing girls arrived a little early; Colleen and Mary danced around the house, getting everything ready.\u00a0 Colleen did an errand run for us, saving a lot of time.\u00a0 She went to Goodwill, dropped off Christmas stuff boxes, and picked up the food from Mrs. Andersen.<\/p>\n

I didn’t think the numbers went up that high!<\/p><\/div>\n

I do not feel too old but the other day,\u00a0I tried to explain to my 4-year-old son Callen that it’s perfectly normal to accidentally poop your pants, but he’s still making fun of me.<\/p>\n

Mary and I had a few minutes to relax and discuss getting old.<\/p>\n

M-m-m-m-m-m Mary had a surprised expression!<\/p><\/div>\n

Everything was ready by 2:00 PM, an hour ahead of schedule.\u00a0 Having Colleen here was helpful; she is delightful. Scout, The Wonder Dog, was ready to go and perform his world-famous crotch-sniffing routines.<\/p>\n

You can see the entire party on our website<\/a><\/strong>: We have about seventy-five pictures of the entire event; we did not put the police arrival and paddy-wagon exit on the page.<\/p>\n

Guests begin to arrive right on time, so we sit and visit for a while.\u00a0 There we twenty of us today.<\/p>\n

As soon as the Duda’s arrived, Mary found Nick and put him to work.<\/p>\n

Mary puts Nick to work; Nick was a great help today!<\/p><\/div>\n

Colleen and Mary worked hard to make everything pleasant, and it was just delightful.\u00a0 I never felt so good about being so old!<\/p>\n

Today’s hero was hard at work!<\/p><\/div>\n

Mary enjoyed the celebration and told me, “Today is your birthday, so congratulate yourself, especially if you’re still young enough to remember it.”\u00a0 She also added, “Remember, no tattoos”<\/p>\n

I could not let that go unanswered, so I mentioned to Mary, “I asked my mother where I was born and Mom told me in a hospital.” I responded: “Mom, was I ill?”<\/p>\n

We visited and visited and ate and ate and then came present time!\u00a0 Before I attacked the presents, I reminded the audience of family and friends that I was so ugly when I was born mom said, “Oh, what a treasure,” and dad said, “Yeah, let’s\u00a0 bury it.”<\/p>\n

I got a gift certificate for a head transplant! I knew I was UGLY, but a head transplant?<\/p><\/div>\n

Dessert was served and we had Mary’s special chocolate cake and cherry pie.\u00a0 I ice cream was hardly touched; doesn’t anybody like anchovies ice cream anymore?<\/p>\n

I turned it upside down and announced I was eleven; no responses!<\/p><\/div>\n

Family and friends are important in life! Thank you all for a great time!<\/p>\n

Visiting with friends!!!<\/p><\/div>\n

Mary announced dessert, and I got so excited.\u00a0 I thought it was my birthday cake, but it was just the he-shed on fire.\u00a0 We hit the cherry pie with a vengeance; it disappeared within 23.4 seconds!<\/p>\n

At the end of the party, we collected some of the delightful leftovers and visited Jan for a “Meals On Wheels” flyby.\u00a0 We sat and talked to her for a while before coming home.\u00a0 It was a super day!<\/p>\n
