A computer once beat me at chess. But it was no match for me at kickboxing.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The Sun showed himself at 6:24 AM this morning, and we returned the favor by taking our coffee in the swim spa.\u00a0 I flashed him at 6:30 AM; he got hot!\u00a0 We sat in the spa for a good hour as our fingers were pruning!\u00a0 I looked like a Shar-Pei after an hour!\u00a0 My wrinkles had wrinkles!<\/p>\n

We talked a lot about the dance last night and how to “do it better” next time!\u00a0 Staying at the Huntington and having High Tea is a good idea.<\/p>\n

We danced and danced and danced!<\/p><\/div>\n

Out of the pool and on to doing the mail! It’s a terrible job, but someone has to do it!\u00a0 We got ready to go on the Flower Home Tour in Santa Ana, where Bob and Donna live.\u00a0 \u00a0We stopped by their house first and saw the garden after its most recent redux by Gardner Donna.<\/p>\n

Donna’s garden is beautiful.<\/p><\/div>\n

The “Fairy Garden” took a lot of work which Donna does every year.\u00a0 Hours of labor pays off because it is magnificent.<\/p>\n

While the girls toured the backyard, the guys looked into a gas leak under the BBQ.\u00a0 Ed knew how to fix the gas valve, which was probably the culprit.<\/p>\n

The guys always have a project!<\/p><\/div>\n

We walked over to Victoria street to see the homes, do a little shopping, and visit the Packard auto display!<\/p>\n

Mary checks out the next destination, Casa Del Sol Mexican Restaurant in Irvine, while we wait to go into the house.<\/p>\n

We walked down the street to the Packard display and saw many amazing vehicles from the 1920s through the 1950s.\u00a0 \u00a0Mary is a member of the Packard Club, so she knew several of the people.<\/p>\n

Good looking group!<\/p><\/div>\n

The homes were amazing and what’s more impressive is that the one below was built in 1928 for a total sum of $17,500.\u00a0 \u00a0The attic was a dormitory for the owner’s five kids when they were growing up!\u00a0 Read here about the Russell House.<\/a><\/p>\n

Homes from the 1920s were on review today!<\/p><\/div>\n

The home was already decorated for the season.\u00a0 Santa welcomed us to the house.<\/p>\n

It was warm in that suit on this 90-degree day!<\/p><\/div>\n

We departed the group and went back home (a ten-minute drive), so we could make sure Scout was OK before going to Irvine and having dinner with the gang!<\/p>\n

The band sounded pretty good at Casa Del Sol in Irvine.<\/p><\/div>\n

Great fun when these people get together; you can never tell wants going to happen!<\/p>\n

The gang enjoyed the meal; thank you to Vicky!<\/p><\/div>\n
