I didn\u2019t think orthopedic shoes would help, but I stand corrected!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

We were up and going early this morning since we had to be at Rockwell’s at 9:00 AM to meet with Robin and the crew.\u00a0 \u00a09:00 AM sharp Robin appeared, and the three of us had a great breakfast.\u00a0 By 9:45 AM, we were at Casa Valencia deciding what to do next.<\/p>\n

Mary returned to her place and worked in the master bedroom.\u00a0 Robin attacked the china cabinet doing the washing of the crystal and moving some furniture.\u00a0 I spend four hours in the office getting ready to receive Mary’s<\/p>\n

We have the master bedroom suite, the office, kitchen, and outside plants\/tables\/storage facilities to go!\u00a0 If all goes well, we will be together in the Casa Valencia abode Wednesday evening. We will be pooped!\u00a0 Mary’s house is looking pretty bare right now.<\/p>\n

How very true!<\/p><\/div>\n

We have a lot of work ahead of us getting the place ready for incoming visitors on or around the 28th!<\/p>\n

We have ten security cameras around the house, so we have a history of the move!<\/p><\/div>\n

Robin and Mary worked in the front of the house, and I got the office ready for Wednesday.\u00a0 After a while, our handyman called and wanted to buy Mary’s extension ladder.\u00a0 Well, she worked out a trade; if he would replace and install seven fire and CO2 sensors, he could have the ladder.\u00a0 The deal was made, so Mary headed to her house to continue getting ready while the handyman did his thing.<\/p>\n

At 5:00 PM, Robin and her sister departed, and I also headed to Mary’s (I had to, Mary had the car!).\u00a0 We visited with Robin for a while.\u00a0 \u00a0After Robin headed home, we worked until past 8:00 PM, at which time the swim spa was our next destination.<\/p>\n

Right before bed, I remembered a conversation I had with an old high school chum.\u00a0 He grew tired of being a taxidermist after 15 years, and went to veterinarian school.\u00a0His new business never got off the ground so he decided to operate both his taxidermy and vet business together to save money. His new slogan was: “No Matter What Happens – You Get Your Cat Back.”<\/p>\n

We crashed immediately after getting out of the tub, and in fact, we didn’t even have dinner; we were so tired. Remember:\u00a0A man who runs in front of a car gets tired,\u00a0 A\u00a0man who runs behind a car gets exhausted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
