What happened to the man who stole an Advent Calendar? He got 25 days!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Oh boy, its Christmas Eve, we cannot wait, so we didn’t.\u00a0 We ran to the tree and decided to open one “funny” present.\u00a0 Well, I was first, and when I opened my package, my face turned bright red, and it got redder when I read the directions.\u00a0 I’d never seen anything like that in person, only read about them.\u00a0 No, I shall not give away my secret.\u00a0 Also inside the bag was something I am wearing but you can’t see it (them?).<\/p>\n

Mary almost got me an Auto Sauna for those times I am caught in traffic when I come and visit her.\u00a0 She took it back, but it was a thoughtful idea!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Then it was Mary’s turn to open hers, and what was it? Well, let’s say it makes noises, can be set off remotely, and brings red faces to those on the receiving end, emphasis “end.”\u00a0 Gotcha wondering, huh?\u00a0 That was the plan!\u00a0 OK, my “gift” to Mary was musical!<\/p>\n

It’s a long story!\u00a0 BEWARE, it is quite portable!<\/p><\/div>\n

Tomorrow we open the “for reals” gifts and those I will tell you about, I hope!<\/p>\n

We worked on our 1,000 piece Christmas puzzle, which, by the way, will never get done by Christmas.\u00a0 With the help of Scout the Snout, we got most of the bottom edge done.\u00a0 He was assisting us all morning.<\/p>\n

“Paul, do we have an Exacto knife?”<\/p><\/div>\n

We did pretty well, considering the pieces are so small.\u00a0 I thought it was a 500 piece, but it turned out to be 10,000 pieces–it feels that way!\u00a0 I needed tweezers to put them into the proper place.<\/p>\n

Only 996 pieces to go!<\/p><\/div>\n

We got cleaned up and headed to the Pancake House about 11:00 AM, where we got breakfast and brought it home.\u00a0 We were going to go to Jan’s but she was under the weather so we stayed home.\u00a0 While waiting, Mary walked around the restaurant to keep warm.\u00a0 It had begun to rain a little bit.<\/p>\n

Dressed for Christmas!<\/p><\/div>\n

We finished breakfast and called Colleen to see what she was up to this fine day.\u00a0 She got up on a chair and showed us her sweater that lights up, has a horn, and had built-in antlers.\u00a0 The problem is when she goes out, the cord is only 100 feet long.<\/p>\n

Colleen and Mary keep me on my toes!<\/p><\/div>\n

We watched a Hallmark movie about Royalscalled “Christmas At The Palace.” The movie is about a former professional ice skater who is hired by the king of San Senova to help his daughter. Of course, love and tradition are at odds, and it’s a mystery which will win.\u00a0 We saw it, and we will not tell!<\/p>\n

Mary wrapped some small presents and went delivering around the neighborhood.\u00a0 I acted as a sleigh.\u00a0 She is a very thoughtful lady.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>

“Knock Knock, Santa here!”<\/p><\/div>\n

After returning home, Scout had something to say to us!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>

“Mommy, it just all of a sudden fell over, really!!”<\/p><\/div>\n

Mary and I set the tree back up and were awaiting Robin and Bob!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>

That’s my girl!<\/p><\/div>\n

Robin and Bob joined us at 2:00 PM, and we visited a while before going to\u00a0 Roger’s Gardens to see the last of the Christmas season. The kids brought us gifts, the little stinkers!<\/p>\n

Robin and Mary opening presents.<\/p><\/div>\n

Mary now has two Paul’s!\u00a0 The mask came from my 75th birthday party last year.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>

Mary cracks up!<\/p><\/div>\n

Bob offered to drive, which was wonderful.\u00a0 I can have a drink and not drive, plus Bob drives the speed limit (or more), which makes Mary very happy.\u00a0 We have to get to Roger’s by 3:00 PM as it is closing early.<\/p>\n

On our way!<\/p><\/div>\n

I got to ride in the back seat of the Avalon!\u00a0 You could hear the smooching for a two-block radius around the car.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>

In the back seat with Miss Mary!<\/p><\/div>\n

We got to Roger’s ten minutes before they closed.\u00a0 We shopped like made and came home with some treasures.\u00a0 Bob acted as the shopping cart as we were in a hurry.\u00a0 He is holding two Radco ornaments which are going to the east coast to be with Colleen.<\/p>\n

Bob was our portable shopping cart!<\/p><\/div>\n

We departed with the trunk full and headed to The Rib Trader to get something to take home.\u00a0 Well, Jim told us to stay and dine as he was lonely, so we did.\u00a0 Mary and I had steaks while Bob and Robin did sandwiches.<\/p>\n

Robin got a Christmas Goose from Jim!<\/p><\/div>\n

We decided not to take food home; we dined in place and visited Jim.\u00a0 We laughed and giggled ourselves silly.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>

We ate and ate and ate!<\/p><\/div>\n

When we got home, I opened up the swim spa, and we went for a quick swim.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>

In the hot tub watching Santa overhead!<\/p><\/div>\n

There was a fish in the pool already; her name was Mary.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>

We talked and awaited Santa’s arrival as our eyes were on the sky.<\/p><\/div>\n

We gave up on Santa at 11:30 PM and went inside to watch part of a Christmas movie and sit by the fire and warm up.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
