We had our brunch about 10:00 AM and we ate the meal from last night&#8217;s Toppers dance&#8230;since we do the pictures, we take dinner home with us!  Actually, it was pretty good!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Into the Silver Ghost and off to the market I went&#8230;0-60 MPH is a little over 45 seconds.  We were running dangerously low on tookie dough!  What if there were an earthquake?? Mother&#8217;s Day -1, what could it be??<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Our daughter, Colleen, and her hubby Mark sent Sue flowers for Mother&#8217;s Day!  They were beautiful! We have the best seats for us&#8230; row G center stage.  We do not have to move our heads to see everything! If the orchestra is playing, we do NOT see the bald maestro&#8217;s head bobbing up and down and I don&#8217;t feel the urge to yell &#8220;Follow the bouncing ball&#8221;!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We just got the same seats for next years major Broadway productions! He must cope both with the strong-willed actions of his three older daughters, who wish to marry for love \u2013 each one&#8217;s choice of a husband moves further away from the customs of their Jewish faith and heritage \u2013 and with the edict of the Tsar that evicts the Jews from their village.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">The original Broadway production of the show, which opened in 1964, had the first musical theatre run in history to surpass 3,000 performances. Fiddler held the record for the longest-running Broadway musical for almost 10 years until Grease surpassed its run. It remains the seventeenth longest-running show in Broadway history.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n<p>It took Sue 30 minutes to have me stop yelling &#8220;Tradition&#8221; and stomping my feet!  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Returning home for all of 45 minutes, we freshened up and headed to the Garden Grove Elks for an evening with friends, a good meal, and lots of dancing!
