Family\u2026Friends\u2026.Fun\u2026Fridays. All good things start with \u201cF\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Energy be my middle name! After all those hours, I woke up and was ready to go! First of all, I picked a mess of oranges and a couple of lemons and made a zingy orange juice! Three lemons and sixteen oranges made for a great wake up drink!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With all this new found energy, I decided to make an apple receipt I found on Facebook! It only took a few minutes and I did it so quick, I did NOT take step-by-step pictures…besides, my fingers were slippery with apple juice and then sticky with dough and then more sticky with light brown sugar…here are the results! Oh! It is calorie free!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BTW, it was really pretty good! Mine was not nearly as pretty as the video so I am going to try an egg wash on it plus go for a higher temperature to get more “puff” out of the pastry!<\/p>\n\n\n

We had lunch at home before heading to the Segerstrom Performing Arts Center to see Aladdin! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Aladdin show was an outstanding production! The live orchestra really made a difference and the ability for the performance to adapt the silliness to todays situations made it all that more fun! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the performance, we headed to Old Ranch to have a drink before turning around and going to Garden Grove Elks for a dinner dance. We could have gone home but that would have added eight minutes each way and sixteen minutes is perfect for a drink at the ranch!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was plenty of crab but it is so much work to get the meat out. On the other hand, I could have worked off a lot of calories getting to the meal!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
