I remember when I was ten years old, Dad took us to a hardware store and got a set of tools for me.&nbsp; A hammer, electric drill, brace and bits, screw drivers, pliers, and other things a good &#8220;Arkansas Took Kit&#8221; would need.&nbsp; They all fit into a tool box.&nbsp; To this day, I still have the brace and bits, the tool box, and the electric drill.&nbsp; Everything else was either lost or wore out after 65 years of use.&nbsp; I think of my Dad every time I look at the tool box or open the drawer and see the old electric drill.&nbsp; Oh, what I owuld given to have him come into my shop and show him today&#8217;s technology with battery powered saws and grinders, and jig saws and drills.&nbsp; He owuld certainly be amazed!&nbsp; <\/span><\/p>\n<p>The older I get, the more I miss him and appreciate his wisdom!&nbsp; Dad passed before Joe was born but I sure would like them to meet for an hour&#8230;I think Dad would be proud!<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We did in most of Tuesdays Chinese and we have one more meal remaining. Sue has a way of taking the leftovers and freshening them up to taste better than brand new&#8230;it&#8217;s a gift!<br\/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the afternoon, we watched a movie and I went shopping for goodies at the market&#8230;they have the GIANT Blueberries back again.\u00a0 Guess what? They are from Peru!\u00a0 Peru is the 4th largest grower of Blueberries i the world.\u00a0\u00a0 We, in the US, grow 269,257 tons of Blueberries!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/lilesnet.com\/dailydiary\/wp-content\/dailydiary\/uploads\/2018\/10\/470px-Dish_of_blueberries.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32679\"\/><figcaption>Absolutely delicious&#8230;We use them on cereal and ice cream every day!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are going to miss dancing at the Elks tonight as Sue&#8217;s back is not up to the travel and we have a play at Segerstrom Performing Arts Center tomorrow so rest is requited.\u00a0 We are planning to see &#8220;Beautiful&#8221; The Carole King Musical&#8221;<br\/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tonight we are going to rest but guess what, it is NOT the leaves rustling outside&#8230;it&#8217;s &#8220;raining&#8221;&#8230;well, kinda sprinkling heavy!\u00a0 The ground is not yet totally wet (at 7:13PM) but more may be on\u00a0 the way and we need all we can get!
