My mother-in-law had a pain beneath her left breast; turned out to be a trick knee.<\/strong>\u00a0 (I hope she does not read this)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7:30 AM and the first words from Sue’s mouth was not “Good Morning” nor “Where is my champagne” or even “Are you hungry!” It was “Where is my pain pull?”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sue stayed in the hospital a full 36 hours and was warned that the neck aches, and this may last for up to 2 weeks. She must\u00a0 avoid physically demanding activities for about 1 week. It may take as long as 2 weeks before everything is totally healed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Atherosclerosis is a disease in which plaque builds up inside your arteries. Arteries are blood vessels that carry oxygen-rich blood to your heart and other parts of your body. Plaque is made up of fat, cholesterol, calcium, and other substances found in the blood<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a lot of stitching done to put the artery and it’s coverings back into their proper place!\u00a0 This, the hurt!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Sue had a glass of her “special champagne” and then went back to bed to read.\u00a0 While the wound is well stitched up, the drainage hole is still not healed as that is pulled out right before going home.\u00a0 So, that means no shower above the chest today which translates to me doing the beauty parlor thing and washing her hair in the sink!\u00a0 I did this when she had other surgeries so it is no biggie!\u00a0 I be a “Jack Of All Trades”!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We didn’t leave the house today as I kept an eagle eye on her…I am thinking about a baby monitor so I can hear her if I am outside!\u00a0 Amazon, were art thou?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After taking her pain pills, she usually sleeps…Hydrocodene (Vicodin) does the job!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I worked in the garden a little bit planting the winter peas. The peas are amazing when they are fresh picked with a little bit of butter.\u00a0 We always dig the remaining pea plants into the soil as they are loaded with nitrogen and therefore excellent as a fertilizer!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Love the peas!\u00a0 Our dog, Mickey, loved the peas and would always stand by the sink where we extracted the peas from the shell hoping one or more wold drop!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

I pounded the pea supports into the ground and missed and let out a string of cuss words…a few minutes later while surfing the web aI ran into a nice chart which I plan to adopt…these sound better than the language I was using!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
