<\/a><\/p>\nI went a different way just to add a few more steps to the exercise. If I take this route, I get to smell fresh coffee, the bakery, and other food stuffs as I walk along in front of the stores.<\/p>\n

The red flowers and plants always amaze me as one thinks of plants as being green…Mother Nature needed something to attract the birds and the bees so red must have been her primary choice!<\/p>\n
<\/a>The bees were busy inside the foliage!<\/p><\/div>\n
As soon as I returned home, Sue was ready to go even-though it was 11:00 AM!\u00a0 Was she excited or what?\u00a0 I worked in the garage for a few minutes and decided I would join the excitement and get ready to go.<\/p>\n
We departed at 1:00 PM arriving at 1:30 PM but soon found out the procedure was delayed and that we wold not be able to see Mom nor the baby until about 6:30 PM so we returned home and, you guessed it, watched NCIS’s final few show from last season.<\/p>\n
<\/a>Small but quite sufficient and located about 12 miles from our home<\/p><\/div>\n
Returning to the hospital at 6:30 we saw our son-in-law who was just going to the Claim Jumper for a drink.\u00a0 We waited in the waiting room and ran into everyone else… Becca’s best friend and Becca’s parents including Miss Lilly.<\/p>\n
We got the notice that Remy was here and the camera automatically came out.\u00a0 We decided it would be courteous to allow Mommy to post the first pictures on Facebook before we posted any so we waited until he made his Facebook debut!<\/p>\n

We visited the room and Sue and I got to hold the little baby…OMG, we forgot how small they are. 8 1\/2 pounds and 20 1\/2 inches long! Pretty exciting. I was a nervous wreck holding the little guy but actually I ended up holding him for quite a while as everybody else talked. Great grandma Sue just lit up when she held Remy and they smiled at each other…or, they both had gas ? It was a delightful experience.\u00a0 I only wished my parents could have seen this but they are no longer with us.<\/p>\n
<\/a>Nope, NOT crying…Just a yawn! Like his Daddy, understated!<\/p><\/div>\n
An hour old, wrapped up, and definitely in charge!<\/p>\n

Mitch was so excited last night he was like a child the night before Christmas! He was first in line to hold the baby…. right after Lilly!\u00a0 We know how he feels as we now have our fourth great grandchild!<\/p>\n

Rebecca was a trooper…always with a smile and a kind word!\u00a0 She was tired, hurting, but gracious when the family wanted to come in and say hello!<\/p>\n

“Would you like to hold the baby Great Grandma?” and the answer was “Does a bear poo in the woods?” Sue established some ground rules right out of the barn…<\/p>\n

Daddy Zack was busy with Lilly, who was really really excited, so Laura came in and took the reigns.\u00a0 Laura (Noah was baby sitting tonight)\u00a0 has a one year old so she knows how to move babies around.\u00a0 Thank goodness because I was scared to death although even after 55 years, I remember to support the neck!<\/p>\n

Yes, I took my turn and made sure Remy was resting well.\u00a0 He is a very cute little guy and quiet as a church mouse!\u00a0 we did notice he had big hands so we expect he will be getting Makita power tools for his first birthday!<\/p>\n

In summary….<\/p>\n
The evening was wonderful save for one person who just ruins everything she touches…the name shall not be repeated…people just feel sorry for her.\u00a0 It did NOT bother us as we half expected poor behavior.\u00a0 We were surrounded by people we care about and love so one rotten apple has no real effect!<\/p>\n We got a call from Mitch 10:00PM and Mommy and\u00a0 Daddy and Remy were doing just fine!\u00a0 Becca should by Sunday or Monday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" It’s The Truth:\u00a0 Great Grandma” doesn\u2019t mean OLD \u2013 It means BLESSED and LOVED!
