A new week begins.\u00a0\u00a0We like Tuesday simply because it is literally the furthest from next Monday we can possibly be.<\/p>\n

The Nectarines are doing well as evidenced by the picture above!\u00a0 Paul may have to adjust the walking so as to be passing by either at 5:00 AM or 9:00 PM and abscond with a few of the great looking fruits<\/p>\n
Did You Know?\u00a0Nectarines, like peaches, probably originated in China over 2,000 years ago and were cultivated in ancient Persia, Greece and Rome. They were grown in Great Britain in the late 16th or early 17th centuries, and were introduced to America by the Spanish.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n The word ‘nectarine’ means sweet as nectar, and this is very likely the obvious origin of the name.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n Today, California grows over 95% of the nectarines produced in the United States.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n Peach seeds may occasionally grow into trees that bear nectarines, and nectarine seeds may grow into trees that bear either nectarines or peaches.
